Giulia Crețulescu (b. 1994, Bucharest) is an artist based in Bucharest whose practice examines the relationship between functional and artistic objects through the lens of ergonomics. Her work explores how design functions as an extension of human abilities, focusing on the “invisible object” (functional) that immerses us in its action and the “silent object” (artistic) that communicates through presence and context. These dynamics are central to her Ph.D. research, which investigates the communicational roles of objects within artistic and social spheres.
